The name of this restaurant translates into “Soul Fireside Cooking”. Fireside cooking is actually food that are charcoal grilled over time. This traditional style of cooking originated from Hokkaido, Japan. With it’s simple interior decor, one can focus and enjoy the beauty and taste if the high quality food provided.

Unlike traditional Japanese omakase meals, Wild Rocket Head Chef, Willin Low, serves dishes with a Singaporean flavour. Be expected to be served with Char Kway Teow and Claypot Rice but with a twist. “I love to take apart traditional dishes, reassemble them and turn them on their head. The form may change, the presentation may change, even some of the ingredients may be replaced but the spirit of the dish never changes.” said Willin Low.
