2. Paddlepop Frenzy
via The Holqa Cafe
Relive your childhood with these Paddlepop Frenzy bars from The Holqa Cafe! One bite of these and you’ll be transported back to your carefree days in primary school. These crunch bars are made of paddlepop ice cream with a cake base and served alongside mini marshmallows. Eat them with the chocolate sauce provided for that extra kick! This dessert does not only look, but tastes spectacular too! Being labelled as one of the toughest desserts to make, you best believe it’s going to leave quite an impression. This inside of the dessert packs quite a number of ingredients. When pried open, you’ll find a scoop of vanilla ice cream with ‘griotte’ cherries cooked in kirsch, orange confit and almond nougatine. The entire thing is encased in blackcurrant meringue before its doused in Grand Marnier liquor and lit on fire. You can find this flaming beauty at Antoinette for $25.

4. Milk and Cookie shots
This Cookie shot ($6.90) from Icebox includes an edible cookie dough shot glass, a small jug of milk and your choice of ice cream! The cookie shot has chocolate around its rim for that extra flavour and the ice cold milk compliments the sweetness very well. Once the milk is finished, eat the cup with your ice cream for a waste free meal!

5. Lui Sha Donuts
Salted egg yolk or Lui Sha has been getting lots of attention throughout 2016 and it looks like this sweet yet savoury sauce is here to stay! FIX serves up some irresistible lui sha donuts at $6 for 6 of these fluffy little balls. The sauce is served separately so you have the liberty to choose how much sauce you would like on each donut.
