With our love for local food and ever-evolving palate, chefs here have started reinventing some of Singapore’s all-time favourites! Here are some on our must-try list.

1. Truffle Chicken Rice

Located conveniently in Koufu at Cineleisure, Eat Chicken Rice sells truffle chicken rice at $8.90 per bowl. The signature dish is a combination of chicken rice, truffle oil-infused mushrooms, half a poached chicken, spring onions, and a flowy lava egg. Eat Chicken Rice also sells popcorn chicken smothered in salted egg yolk sauce and a Szechuan-style poached chicken with peanuts.

2. Bak Kwa cocktail

via Nutmeg&Clove

With Chinese New Year coming up, Nutmeg & Clove has decided to introduce their new Chinatown cocktail to their ever-growing menu. The cocktail contains Bulleit bourbon infused with Kim Joo Guan bak kwa and blended with sweet vermouth and Shao Xing wine. Guaranteed to get you all geared up for CNY!

3. Chilli Crab Ice Cream

Ever wondered what a savoury ice cream might taste like? Well, at Restaurant Labyrinth, you can try out their chilli crab ice cream! The ice cream comes on a bed of grated man tou and get this – a tempura soft shell crab to top it off!
