There hasn’t been many options in the halal burger department, but Burgs is here to help curb that. The brain child of three young chefs who are out to change the halal scene in Singapore, this humble stall in Golden Mile complex is quite the hit. Queues at lunch snake long but that doesn’t deter their fans to wait for their delicious burgers. And we can totally understand why.

The Classic ($4.50)

Not sure what to try there? You cannot go wrong with The Classic. Served with a side of thick cut fries, the burger has a beef patty and is topped with caramelised onions, American cheese and pickled green chilli. The green chilli taste does not really shout out to you but is rather a hint of heat at the end, so no worries this burger is not spicy at all! The patty is grilled to absolute juicy goodness, and each mouthful gets better than the last. The onions are sweet and not only help balance out the taste but also give the burger an added bite. For $4.50, this burger is worth every last cent and will leave you wanting more!

Hickory Smoked Beef Brisket ($5.50)

Pulled juicy beef brisket with homemade BBQ sauce is the perfect lunch meal. The tender beef melts in your mouth as the bbq sauce slowly envelopes your tongue, and the crunch from the sesame coleslaw gives the burger just the amount of bite that it needs. Get everything in one mouth and boy are you in for a treat. Sweet yet tangy BBQ sauce, juicy and tender beef brisket plus refreshing coleslaw, this burger is one to lift up those mid day work blues!

Seoul Fried Chicken ($5)

If you aren’t a fan of beef, then it is highly recommended that you give this burger a try. Two pieces of deep fried chicken thighs coated in Korean spicy sauce and topped with chilli flakes and homemade coleslaw to give this burger the kick that it needs. This crispy chicken is sweet yet spicy and the coleslaw help to balance out the flavour in your mouth. This burger can be quite the sticky mess as it’s hard to keep the thick pieces of chicken in the bun as you bite through it, so make sure you have tissues on standby!

At such affordable prices, Burgs is quite the place to visit! Make sure you head down early to beat the queues and avoid disappointment! (They do sell out fast on some days, we warned you)
