Opened by three Korean-Americans, this restaurant’s concept is not only refreshing, it also brings fusion food to a whole other level, making them look chic, current and taste oh-so-delicious.
Though Mexican and Korean food taste vastly different from each other in terms of taste, who would’ve thought that they would go so well together!
Mango Prawn Quesadillas ($22)
This innovative way of making Quesadilla looks just like Korean kimchi pancakes, and it tastes just as good as it looks! It is topped with sour cream, avocado slices and fresh mango salsa. The red quesadilla is filled with succulent chipotle (smoked hot chilli pepper) prawns. Altogether, it tastes sour, savoury and spicy all at the same time.
Honey Tequila Chicken Wings ($18)
This mouthwatering chicken wings tastes savoury, especially when it is accompanied with its sour cream sauce. The chicken wings is comparable to the popular Four Fingers chicken wings, which also means it’s scrumptious. There is a mix of sweet and spicy flavour from the Honey Tequila sauce, which makes it flavourful and tasty.
Chilli Lime Prawn Urban Tacos (2 pieces -$10; 3 pieces – $14)
This unique Chilli Lime Prawn Urban Tacos come with a serving of your choice: 2 pieces or 3 pieces. Kimchi Carnitas Fries ($18)
I shall save the best for the last. This hot favourite in Korea is also popular here in Singapore because of its rich flavour. It’s like a mix of everything good: kimchi, braised pork carnitas, melted cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, topped with cilantro and onions. It’s like a party in your mouth with all the various flavours inside this bowl of perfection. This is definitely something that everyone would love.
