Introducing Kuro Maguro, a restaurant that offers the largest range if Maguro Donburi in Singapore! Kuro Maguro only uses meat culled from blue fins that weigh a minimum of 280kg. These fish have a good balance of fat as well as lean meat and are imported directly from Misaki Port to Singapore via ANA air freight. A technique called ‘super frozen’ is used to freeze its maguro at –60 degrees Celsius ensuring the freshness of the sashimi.
Try their Otoro Meshi ($32.80) which features marbled tuna belly or Salmon Oyako Meshi ($20.80) with salmon chunks and roe! If you can’t decide what fish you’d like, try the classic Barachirashi ($18.80), which contains an assortment of cubed sashimi.
Alight at Tanjong Pagar MRT and take the escalator up to the ground floor, exit through the glass door on the left and keep walking till you see the bright Kuro Maguro sign opposite Starker!
