Being a huge Nasi Lemak fan himself, the owner, Fabian Seet, has fulfilled his dream of opening up a shop to sell his all-time favourite dish. Opened just 3 months ago, this underrated restaurant serves up a diverse range of nasi lemak, reinventing one of Singaporeans’ favourite dishes! Seet ensures that he translates his love for Nasi Lemak into the food he serves to his customers, and keeping it refreshing for them at the same time.

Being a perfectionist, he will come down twice or thrice every day just to ensure the quality of the food is up to his standard. His love for nasi lemak abounds, so much so that he comes to his own restaurant to eat nasi lemak for lunch and dinner.Well, we can’t deny that this comfy and cozy environment, along with their friendly staff makes this place a joy to dine at indeed!

My favourite would have to be the “MOO MOO” Rendang Nasi Lemak ($7.80). The paste was really fragrant, and the beef was succulent and tender. Who knew beef rendang could go so well with nasi lemak? This tasty dish is really refreshing and a definite must-try here!

Calamari rings on nasi lemak? You guessed it! Their Blur Like Sotong Nasi Lemak Fried Squid ($7.80) tries to turn the ordinary nasi lemak into something more familiar on a western dish, replacing the chicken wings with sotong! Unlike most places, the pandan rice is all natural with no added food colouring to make it look extra green, which adds to the authenticity of the dishes.

For all you spicy lovers out there, try their Fly Like an Angry Chicken Nasi Lemak ($5.80) to give your nasi lemak an extra kick. This dish will tiltilate your taste buds because it tastes spicy, sour and sweet all at once! This ayam masak merah, which is actually a spicy tomato chicken dish, gives a unique flavour to the traditional dish. So try it if you’re feeling adventurous!

To top it all off, they even have some really cool floats to pair your favourite type of nasi lemak with! You can get the nostalgic A&W Float ($2.80) that comes with classic vanilla ice-cream. There is even a Bandung Float ($2.80) which comes with raspberry vanilla ice-cream!
